Flat Classroom Project

Building bridges for the future through collaborative projects

I am looking for history teachers around the world who are willing to start a collaboration on a history/politics class to students.
This project would start in the Spring 2009, and would last one term.
Students would interact and debate issues such as globalization and terrorism.
Our school is in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts in the U.S.
Students are 12th grade students between 16 and 18 years old.
I am trying to get 5 or 6 schools from all over the world to join this project.
If you are interested or know someone who would be, let me know.
Thank you.

Hello,

My name is Sushmita Hodges and I am a World History teacher at St. Paul Academy in Minnesota. I teach a HonorsSenior seminar class called HOnors World History and the second semester my students focus on issues of globalization. This is my second year that my students are participating with a school in New Delhi India on the NAIS sponsored Global challenge 20/20 project on global poverty. I would love to collaborate on this project if you still offer it in the next academic year.

Thanks,

Sushmita Hodges

Hi Kader
Great ideas for a project!
OK, can I suggest you also join our educators-only NIng at http://flatclassrooms.ning.com and connect with like-minded people there to try and get this off the ground.
