The sound and video quality, the content and how well that content is used in that time frame.

Depends on what and how much you are trying to communicate.

Which ever informs me best, people learn in different ways. Some visually, some audibly and some kinesthetically. Try use diagrams and a mix of other way to represent your ideas.

Is music important?
To create a mood or atmosphere, it may sound dull or feel like it lacks atmosphere without some. As long as it doesn't negatively affect the sound of the video or narration.
