I recently became active in practicing communication through the web and based on my limited experience , the term 'uploading' proves to be an excellent synonym for 'sharing'. I generally use it (every time i can be bothered to turn on my laptop!) for sharing compositionary works as well as pictures with communities and relations .

The impact of the service itself has proved to be a hallmark in the history of the internet for man is a social and communicative animal by nature and the ability to share cherished moments with loved ones over long-distances is alluring while the equally captivitating ability to download sought-after media articles with one click (we tend to prefer the easy way out!) is also quite a charming prospect. Accessibility combined with fast sharing technology are factors which have greatly escalated the percentage of net-users worldwide.

Uploading , in my opinion , can be considered illegal depending on the use one makes of it.For instance , uploading vulgar and sometimes copy right protected woks is illegal by law in some areas.As for uploading images imposing on the privacy or views of particular individuals ,it is wrong morally and ethically (depending on varying perspectives) though it is not considered illegal.

Dependant as we have become on modern technology for even our most basic needs , i do not believe that the web can survive without it's 'uploading' viability.On average most people, particularly teens , access the net for the sole purpose of uploading pics or downloading videos previously uploaded.
