I'm in the process of adding links to the kids response wikis in the group discussion tabs. Overall they found making a quality response quite difficult. Being ESL G5 kids I noticed that much of the language was tough for them to understand and find a reference within their knowledge base. They were excited to contribute and with more practice would get better. I hope their responses are valuable to the groups.

OK, I think our peer reviews are all on the wiki. We did it as a Google Doc so I pasted each groups final reviews into the discussion tabs on the relevant wiki page and added the appropriate tag (I think).

I also shared their Google Docs as web pages and put the links on the Sounding Board wiki page.

My students were also wondering whether the Flat Classroom teams might respond to their comments and suggestions in the discussion tabs? I know they would be thrilled to get a response.

We had our first meeting on Thursday and I will meet 2 more days this week with the volunteer kids to complete the feedback. I have been looking at the sounding board video Index page and there are very few videos linked to review. Should these videos be linked there by now or are the kids still making the?

Mrs Durf, I see one of your groups have reviewed a group 6 & 10 video, yet it isn't linked on the Index page. Did you go searching the NING for the videos?

My 7th graders did day one of their sounding board work. Today was laying the groundwork, I explained the project and had the words on the blog (I have very little voice - a cold), we watched the Vision2020, and then wrote blog posts using the 3-2-1.
Tomorrow we will actually review wikis using our own wiki. I will put the links in the discussion tabs with the links myself as this is where my kids messed up most in the past.
How is everyone else doing?
