In charge? I'm not qualified to be in charge - being on Nik duty while sick plum wore me out! In charge? Who ever heard of such a thing! Bill is very capable - he has also my Skype to chat anytime - it is on the laptop that goes to classes with me.

Hi, Bill. Sounding board information is here - http://flatclassroom09-3.flatclassroomproject.org/Sounding+Boards -- you are providing the feedback on the wikis. At this point, you just have wikis to review so if you are wanting to provide review on that you may do that at any time. If, however, you're wanting to do the videos, those will be posted by the day after Thanksgiving at which time you can review the videos. If you want to skype with me or Lisa that would be great. Lisa is officially in charge - I am coolcatteacher on Skype and want to make sure you're not frustrated and ok - looks like everything is OK from your last message but if not, let me know!

I forgot to add that the student to computer ratio for my class is 1:1 so I could have my students commenting on up to 10 projects (if no one is out). However, I wonder if the quality of the comments would be better if two of my students are assigned to each video.

I'm very interested, but frankly, found it a bit difficult to figure out exactly what the expectations and deadlines would be for my class if I did this. The past week and this week have been extremely hectic with no computer time at home this weekend (I was on a camping trip) but I think I've now read enough from the FCP wiki pages to somewhat understand.

The calendar I found said this week is the SB review week, which could be perfect timing for my class, but I see Mrs. Durff mentioned starting next week. What is the earliest there will be something to review and when/how would I find out what to review? I didn't want to commit by adding my name to the list on the wiki page until I knew I could have my class do this.

My situation is that I teach a elective called Digital Collaborative Media to 10 eighth graders. The class meets two or three days a week (varies). The curriculum is very flexible so I could plug this in almost any time as long we I don't have something else already scheduled that impacts students outside of my class of 10. This week could be particularly good for students to start working in class as I have class Mon, Thur, and Fri but will have a sub on Thur and Fri. My students are already familiar with using our class wiki so I could leave this as class work (and follow their progress from the conference I will be at). The last time I see them before I'm away is today at 11:55 AM Eastern so any guidance before then so I could introduce the idea in class would be great if possible.

Assuming it is only my classroom, as it looks right now, I will divide up the topics between the 19 kids and we will be doing it the week of November 16th. I got cursory interest from Rob Jacklin, Linda Nitsche, and Bill Campbell. Heard nothing since ... In this case an Elluminate is not necessary.

I think Rob Jacklin & Linda Nitsche were looking at being Sounding Board classrooms.
