I really enjoyed Mr. Langley's examples, especially the video game one (I think it was CoD [Call of Duty])- how we can play as a team and work together over distances. We can talk to each other via headsets. We can interact with each other via controllers. We can ultimately win as a team. I also like how he connected how the business world is already using the techniques that Flat Classroom Project (FCP) is using and we're getting ahead. Students are starting to teach the teachers! I think it's great. When the NetGenEd generation makes its way to the business world, we are going to have immense potential for collaboration and eventually greatness. The FCP is preparing us for the technology- driven business world to come. Now, of course when we send something on FCP we expect a response in about a day, not like international mail which could take forever. Also, if we were doing this years ago, with this age of kids; it would not be as easy as you would think. We are just acclimated more to technology; nothing to be ashamed of! Overcoming dialect barriers and timezones and each other- look what we can do.

Attention all students in the NETGEN project. Our Keynote address is now posted as our feature video on this NING. Watch this and give your opinion on the issues.
