Hi Mary, I am new to this site as well, but think my 5th graders would be interested in participating in a flat classroom project and collaborating with your class. Any idea how we would begin? Betsye Sargent

Congratulations! I'm glad you figured out the problem. Happy to be your friend...just waiting to hear from one of the projects!

I don't understand why there isn't a "join this group" button in the upper right corner. Hopefully Julie can help. This is going to be awesome...I can't wait to get started!

I don't know what you're missing...but you are in the right link. Didn't you see a Join in the upper right corner? I have commented to some posts re: projects and have included you in my request to join. If I get accepted, I will add you as a friend.
Don't worry, I'm not good at this, either, but we WILL get a project going..it might take a week or two.
One suggestion: send a message to Julie Lindsay, she can help more than I can! Good luck!

When you click on the Primary Educators link on the left, you should be taken to a page that asks you to join. Look in the upper right hand corner....good luck! Were you able to look at the global project, or do you have to be a member first?

Glad to be your friend. I have joined the Primary Educators site and replied to a post about a global collaboration project. I asked if we could join that group. Go to that site and you can check it out and see what you think. Let me know if it sounds like something you'd like to do.
Mary :)

Hi Betsye,
I just received a response from Julie Lindsay, telling me to go to
http:flatclassroomproject.ning.com and join the educators site (on left hand side, the link for Primary). I just joined and am waiting to be approved. I posted a comment asking for help.
I think you should do the same and we'll see what happens.
