Brittany Aldridge's Page

   My name is Brittany! I am a sophomore at Pleasant Plains High School in Illinois.  There is nothing too exciting about Illinois, but when you live in a little town in the middle of nowhere, you can find some pretty fun things to do. It's also pretty cool because all of us in this town know each other, and we stick together.  I LOVE soccer! My team is all pretty close, and the coaches are amazing!

   I think collaborating with students from other countries will be a really great experience. I love meeting knew people, and this will give us the chance to learn about different cultures and how schools in different countries work. It will also be really cool to learn about these new people and see how much alike you could be after all. I think the advantages of this will be, like I said, getting to interact with people who are across the world, getting to share ideas with everybody, and work together to help "flatten the world."  The disadvantages sowever are that we can't meeet each person face to face. I learn and interact best with people when i can see them and talk to them in person. I'm usually a major social butterfly, but I will need to learn how to break the shyness of talking to people and sharing my ideas.
