About Me:: I am a 7th / 8th grade teacher in a small rural school in Maine. I am very passionate about promoting project based learning for my students.

My profile picture is of me standing before Shindler's Factory Gate in Krakow, Poland. I do a 8 week unit on the Holocaust.

My interests are local history (New Sweden, Maine) a small town settled by the Swedes in 1870, the US Civil War- specifically the 20th Maine, technology, science fiction, and cross country skiing which I also coach.

I am a grandfather with two beautiful (I am not biased) grand daughters with another grand child on the way.

I have just been honored to receive the Association of Computer and Technology Educators of Maine's Educator of the Year Finalist Award for 2008.

Your favorite video games (and other gaming ID information): War Craft (about 10 versions ago) - I haven't played for maybe 5 years!
