About Me:
My name is Micah Howlett. I am fourteen years old, and I currently am a sophomore at LACHSA (The Los Angeles County High school for the Arts.) I live in Azusa California. I am a vocal music major at my school. I have an interest in singing opera, most classical, art song, and some Broadway music. I enjoy listening to all of the above and almost every other music genre, although my favorite music genre is Alternative Rock. Besides singing my interests are playing guitar, hiking, backpacking, participating in Boy Scout Activities. Also, I like doing most the usual, same old same old stuff, hanging out with my friends, going out to and renting movies, and spending time with the family. I enjoy doing community service from time to time, at least when I have some; it is very fulfilling to help someone who requires help.

Flatclassroomproject reflection

Introduction- I was in the Ubiquitous computing group, and I contributed to the wiki by writing the education section of the background. Also I was in the explanation section for the video.

Strengths- The project opened my eyes to students around the world, their time zones, work habits and, creative ideas. Also how to work and collaborate internationally. Additionally I learned more about ubiquitous computing. There is a new world every day with the advancement of technology and it moves faster than we can keep up.

Challenges- The most challenging part about the project were the deadlines and I had to get around my schedule to make time to finish within the time frame. Also the outsourced video clip system needs to be refined since I never even got a video.

Recommendations- My only recommendation would be to create a better way for receiving an outsourced video, because that didn’t work out very well for a lot of people.

Conclusion- The flatclassroom project was a lot of fun it was an experience that I have never had before and I learned a lot from it. I think, given the time and the opportunity, I would definitely do it again.
