About Me:

Greetings to you all, my name is Olivia, and I am in my seventeenth year. I am consumed by the arts this year (and as usual), working on my portfolio for art schools and participating in my community theater group (this year I’m directing, which is completely exciting and terrifying.) I love to write, watch lots of movies, watercolors, scheming out giant pulley systems, and knowing far too much about Harry Potter. I have a fixation on external and internal relationships of organs and bones vs. skin and hair, which is super fun to draw.
As far as my family goes, I have a patient artistic mother, a neurotic artistic father, and a prickly, horrid, teenage little brother. I own a golden retriever mutt, a depressed turtle, and a vaguely startled iguana. We all live somewhat happily in a little house painted in primary colors.

Reflection

Intro: My group was 4B or Uploading and the Changing Shape of Information. My video was a parody of Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory, used to illustrate the wide reach of the web. Using the ning and wikispaces was fast and easy to learn.
Strengths: The strength of working on this project was the creativity involved, easily learning to edit the wiki, filming my video with friends, watching videos from around the world, and getting to speak at one of the web conferences.
