Global collaboration has affected many aspects of my life. It has given me the experience of working with several students outside of school from all over the country. With technology it has enabled us to work together through the internet in order to accomplish certain goals. Technology opens up so many opportunities for people around the world and lets people be more connected with each other no matter where they may live. Having these global collaborative experiences before leaving high school is a great opportunity because it helps students to develop certain skills that they will most likely will use in the future due to the advancements in technology. In college it’s important to be able to work well with others not only in the class room but online as well. For instance colleges now have the option of online classes which requires students to have the necessary skills in order to navigate through the classes. Looking towards the future the internet is only going to become a bigger part of our lives which is why it is important that students from an early age be familiar with the online world and how it can be used to their advantage.
