- Beginning in July, 2008, I've taken on the position of Managing Director of New School Student Ambassadors, Inc. This small non-profit promotes educational and cultural exchanges between students around the world. Our current programs include Ningxia Dragon Student Ambassadors (www.dragonstudentexchange.org), a student-centered program designed to give learners in the US and northwest China opportunities to learn online and face-to-face, and New School Curriculum Group, a teacher/educator-centered network for collaborating on global project-based curriculum. Over the past several years, I've been involved with the Center for 21st Century Skills as a leader in developing innovative programs for high school and college students that teach the skills needed most in a knowledge economy. I've also traveled extensively to China where I've taken students on extraordinary educational and cultural exchanges.
