- I work in an alternative secondary school in White Rock, BC, near Vancouver, Canada. The students who come to use tend to be the 'high maintenance' lot among us -- challenging, flippant, defensive, daring us to prove to them that education is important. My teaching partner and I have turned to using online tools and resources to make their schoolwork more engaging.
