Feedback

As we work to wrap up our team wikis, throughout the week, it was easy to see (here on the back-end) that  there may have been some "wiki wars" happening.  Wiki wars can happen when some students accidentally delete others work and some students get frustrated.  Please, please, please be sure that each time you edit, remember to save with a comment AND to post in the discussion…

With help from Vicki Davis, I just posted this through the wiki messaging system (look at the mail icon in the top right corner and you'll see mail from me.) But in case you haven't seen it - here is the main part of the message.  Thanks to Vicki for blogging about this before

What should I be doing?

From a teacher's perspective, it is both an honor and a privilege to be involved in a project of this magnitude and scope. The teachers in this round of the Flat Classroom Project have met and thus far, it seems we all work well together. The introductions among students from varying places of the world have taken place. Students are beginning to get to know each other, although their partners are on the other side of the world. I would not have dreamed this ever being possible when I first… Continue

Hi Mrs. N: As usual, Mr. Jones is filling his role as a slacker. We had such a bad two weeks....constant interruption with testing and state competitions and now, I can't believe I am saying it....SPRING BREAK....I love it, of course....but just when I was ready to get the kids going on FCP!!! We rock FCP in 10 days!!

Thank you, we have to be able to speak our mind but it has to be appropriate on what we say to anyone.

Ms. Nestico,

I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed my intoduction video. My teacher had introduced us to Animoto.com which is the website that i used to make it. It was fast and very easy to do.

On the subject of my about me, I miss a lot of school due to golf tournaments. So, when I created my Flatclassroom profile I was in a hurry to fill out all the catagories. The term "straight G" is a common way for kids at my school to say something or someone is cool. It is used very closely with the word "swagger" or "swagg" meaning coolness. I apologize for the use of slang on FlatClassroom because it has been brought to my attention that we are supposed to stay away from such terms to aviod any confusion.

Thank you for your kind comment about my video! Unfortunately I realized too late that I was supposed to incorporate Google into it.
