Thank you, Vicki. Meaningful,  specific feedback is something I reinforce constantly with my pre-service teachers to help them support  the engagement loop that keeps kids going: feedback-motivation-action-feedback.... I bookmarked several of the presentations to use as examples with my students - excellent sources/ideas for alternative assessment.

Mobile apps allow people to use their smartphones on the go. People can play games such as Temple Run and Angry Birds, get onto the internet, and check the local weather. The creation of mobile apps was an good idea. I like to play games on my phone by using the mobile apps. The Facebook app allows me to go to the sign in page instantly.

Tablet Computing is about tablets being used more and more. Tablets are much more easier to carry around then a computer, and they can be just as good as them. Some people do not like the fact that tablets do not have a keyboard or a mouse, but if they did, then they wouldn't be so easy to carry around. Tablets can be useful to all kinds of people. Teachers can use them to teach, architects can use them to build, and doctors can use them instead of clipboards. Tablets can be so useful.

Game based learning is a great way to help kids learn. Game based learning is used in 3-D and other cool graphics to catch the viewers attention. Game based learning gives you a visual of what the person is trying to teach you. Game based learning has improved the way kids and other people learn everyday. Learning with visual has been proven that 90% of the people who see an image learn more than regular teaching. People will learn more if teachers use game based learning because kids like to pay attention to something that excites them not something that makes them bored. I also have learned that regular teaching doesn't catch my attention but something with pictures keeps me interested. Dylon- WHSB
