What are you learning whilst your teachers aren't looking?

If you have a spare 10 minutes after finishing the Flat Classroom project. Or if teachers reading this have another class they can spare some time to do this......
Terry Freedman (our Keynote for 2008 Flat Classroom project) is put together a survey called "What are you learning whilst your teachers aren't looking?" and is inviting students to take it. This will help him gather data and inform policy makers, academics, technology companies and teachers about how young people use technology for l… Continue

Hey Julie, if you'll do a status update I can grab the feed from that to send it into Twitter. Let me know when you've got it going.

Okay, sounds good. I'd like to hear a little more about all this flat classroom stuff. I'm not quite clear on what I'm doing. My skype is Teri Lueke. Not sure when works for you? With the time difference, we'll have to try and figure something out.

Hi Julie!
My name is Mary Freeman and I teach 5th grade in a small town in western North Carolina, USA. Last year, we collaborated with 7th & 8th graders in Belize on an ePals.com project. It was an awesome experience and helped my students view the world from a flatter perspective. I am very excited about becoming a member, but I'm not sure how to go about joining a project. I would appreciate any advice you can offer. Look forward to hear from you!

Hi Julie,

I have a new BTEC Interactive Media course starting in September and I would love to get the 12 or so 16 year olds involved in the FCP. I think last year you kicked one of around then, am I right and are there similar plans for 2009 please?
