Entertainment, arts, and leisure are a big part of America today. Without it, people wouldn't be able to partake in any fun activities. Many entertainment places to go are theme parks. A main theme park all over the United States is called "Six flags Great America." Here, there are roller coasters, food, games, even a parade at night for everyone to sit and relax at the end of their big day and get to see all of the fun television character mascots. There are also two other main attractions… Continue

The changing shape of information.

I think that the changing shape of information is that the world is starting to be controlled by internet and the computer. People's lives are revolving around technology. Whether it is a cell phone or computer most people couldn't live without their cell phone for a day. People even read the daily newspaper on the computer.

Personal Learning Environments and Social Networking, overview

The topic I am doing is about personal learning environments and social networking. I am doing the overview of those two things. Social networking is a big thing in the world as we all know. There was Myspace and now there is Facebook and Twitter. Social Networking has come a long way. Believe it or not there was social networking before all of this. Most kids don't know this because it happened to long ago for us to even know about it. It of course led to all the great social networking…

The things I believe that are important to focus on in this beautiful topic of globalization and outsourcing are how networks connect with each other and communicate when they leave in totally different parts of the world, because it shows how the world is flat but how easily these different company's maintain there communication with other company's when working together. Also another thing that I plan on focusing on in the overview of globalization and outsourcing is that I will summarize the… Continue

Globalization and Outsourcing and how it effects our way of life

Globalization and Outsourcing is a rapidly growing phenomenon in the world. Globalization being the spread of a company around the world and outsourcing being the movement of a company's workforce to a different company for economic purposes. Current News with the Changing Shape of Information

Information has changed so much in the last few years. Currently, there are many new developments. In fact, the President of Egypt was overrun and kicked out because the people finally ganged up on the President through Facebook. Before, they couldn't even speak to each other because the government was so strict, but through social networking sites like Facebook, those people were able to trash and finally get rid of the President. The Skype program, which lets you talk to anyone…

Google Takes Over the Worl 7-d

Google was invented by two men named Larry Page and Sergey Brin.  This search engine was invented to find information quicker without having to look it up in a book.  I believe that Google is taking over our world.  I think that people use Google as an easy solution to look up their work.  It is convenient when one is in a hurry and they need a quick source of information, but i also believe it is cheating some people from their real work.  Kids in school have this as an option to look up… Continue
