This script is taken from my plan and design documents in google doc. This is not the whole design, is just a summary or an idea of what I will be looking for and record with my video camera, probably at home because I have no time to do it here.
Narration:
My family pays a quite expensive bill specially for the electricity. Why, how? is it possible that we are paying so much and we are not even at home most of the time except at night?
This is an issue that has been concerning our family for…

In Thomas Friedman's video of his lecture given in MIT, he discusses and summarizes the main points of his book "The World is Flat". He skims through what he believes are the "ten flatteners of the world" and he begins by explaining that the world is developing too fast for the economic, governmental, and political sectors to keep up. He talks about what brought him to write this book, which as he says, happened after his several trips to a variety of places around the world. After interviewing…

Our task for the day was to watch
Tom Friedman's Video on 'MIT World' and write a blog on what we know about his book 'The World is Flat'.
The Interview...
Mr. Friedman is a very entertaining man, and although I find some lectures particularly boring he actually managed to grasp and hold my attention for a full 30 minutes (I wasn't able to watch the entire video as I also had to read the book's summary). Sometimes I really didn't kno…

They could be an asset within education because they could be interactive, creating curriculum activities using Google Earth and using Geographical Survey data to create a History…

Dr. Freedman's video was basically a layout of advice on how to succeed while participating in the Flat Classroom Project. He talks about how the way communication is now global and takes a team to be effective. He also talks about how, if we work as a team, how vital everyone's part in the process is key. Dr. Freedman also adds information on how to manage and evaluate information effectively.
I plan on incorporating Dr.Freedman's advice into my video and also in working on the Flat Classroom…

It's been a very busy several weeks working on the Project. The learning curve hasn't been a 'big' as I first thought it would be, but I must admit that I have had a little difficulty remembering everything that I need to do as a teacher to help students be successful in the Project.
Wow! Amazing! I have been watching the progression of the Wiki and I am so impressed by the depth and breadth of the information that is unfolding/building on each of the topic Wiki's. It's obvious that the student…
