1)Overview of my topic.
For my topic, which is "Connecting the World Online," I discussed many interesting points on how people "connect" to the web. For instance, people may shop for automobiles, clothes, or even houses on the internet. This is very convinient for today's society since people are often preoccupied with many different tasks. The internet has given people an opportunity to have an easier way of deciding things!
Another way the internet "connects" us is socially. I feel most familiar with this topic, since I am currently a teenager, and in today's society, most teens use the internet as a social networking system. Teens use websites such as Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and maybe even just a regular e-mail account on Yahoo, to virtually communicate. I feel the most interesting items with this project is how I am able to use a video camera to express my ideas and feelings. It was great being able to perform a project on a camera, with the help of my fellow classmates! I also enjoy being able to learn more about Social Networking sites!
2)Wiki Editing Process.
In my opinion, the strengths of my time were definitely the ability of consideration. My team and I did a great job of respecting one another. When one person needed help, another person was there to help them. Even though we sometimes did not communicate as much as we should, I feel when we did communicate, we were very kind to one another. I feel this is why this project is so important. It teaches people how to work together and respect one another. At times, the group and I were sometimes confused as to what we would like our project to stand for, but we eventually worked everything out, the way it should work. For the most part, I believe the group cited sources. I feel the wiki could have been better, but overall, I am content with the project.
:)
3) Outsourced Video-
I made an outsourcing video, (along with James, Laken, and Savannah) of James asking Laken and Savannah what they would rather have, Mcgoogles, or Google King, and they were supposed to choose Google King. For the most part, I understood what was asked of me. I did not ask questions as to why, but I did my part of the video for Kennedy M. She ended up using this clip in her video, which I found very entertaining and great!:)

4)Final video-
My initial idea or "pitch" was to have a video on a student moving away to college, which is in another state, and wanting to know how to keep in touch with his friends and family. This is where the point of how technology is so beneficial, especially for people trying to keep in touch. I stayed somewhat true to my intial concept, but I ended up changing my concept to a graduation scene. I changed this since I felt that a graduation would be more interesting, and would use more people, which is great for a video. i feel my video had a great idea, but it could have used more work. I should have made the graduation appear more realistic, and maybe added a few more extras, such as transitions and different music. Overall, I feel I had a descent video. My audio was pretty well put together, but I did not know enough about cameras to make it perfect. I feel that I could have made my video more transitional.
I feel Brody C. and Kaleb B. should get recognition for their video. They spent an abundant amount of time on it, and it definitely showed in their work. They used great transition, music, and had an entertaining story line.
