My Handshake
Well since my first handshake was deleted, I'll just post another one.
Hi! I'm Julia and I live in New Jersey. I am currently a freshman at Allied Academy of Health and Science. I love to play and watch sports, but my absolute favorite would have to be softball. Ever since I was little I played and now I play for a Jr. Olympic team. I love it because it keeps me active throughout the entire year. When I'm not playing softball, I love to hang out with my friends or just relaxing and listening to music. My favorite genre of music to listen to is country. My absolute favorite artist to listen to is Jason Aldean, I also love Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, and Rascal Flatts. When I listen to music before a game, I usually listen to Hip-Hop/Rap because it helps e get focused better. Some of my favorite foods are shrimp parmesan, chocolate cake, and chicken paprikash. Some of my favorite movies to watch are Footloose, She's the man, and Mean Girls. Something strange about me is that I chipped my hip. Not many people even know that you can do that, let alone have it done to themselves. I am looking forward to meeting and working with new people from all over the world through the Flat Classroom Project!

That sounds really cool! Did it hurt when you chipped your hip? I used to play softball, and I slid into home plate and sprained my ankle...(I didn't really know the proper way to slide right! :p )

It's like a college prep. sort of thing. We play in showcases and college coaches are there watching us. It's great, my organization brings in old or current college coaches to train us. It's really a great experience!

Hey Julia! My favorite sport is softball, too! You must be really good! What is a Jr. Olympic team like? Rep team? I wish there was one in Toronto, too, haha.

It's a lot fo fun, it's my life. I love playing, it's so great to meet another person who likes softball too! I grew up playing short stop, but when I started playing for the Jr. Olympic team I was taught second base. Country music is my life, I went to a Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan concert, it was amazing. I am excited to getting to know you.
I chipped my hip last year when I was sliding into second base. I guess I slid wrong or something, but I ended up chipping a piece of my hip done off. I never knew it was possible!
