Building bridges for the future through collaborative projects
Don Tapscott said some very true statements about the NetGen and how to reach us. The NetGen is our generation that is submersed in technology . Now a days children and teens just go on the computer. I mean why leave when you have everything on it? These 8 norms show up so much during everyday life on the internet. Everyday we are constantly bombarded with advertisements with "fun" games and interesting advertisements, just as Don Tapscott said. The technology aspect of marketing and everyday life is immensely important in life now. As Don Tapscott said it is important to understand all the facets of technology and media. The NetGen is our generation which lives on the internet. We spend more time on computers than anything else. We are done with traditional media we need to evolve.
Although based upon others evalution of the NetGen people believe that we were grow up "worse" for we are truly submersed in technology. I feel that although our children will grow up with all this technology they truly will be normal. Change happens and sometimes for the better. For example the past generations parents believed that they were corrupted with C.D. players and rock music, but honestly they turned out okay. I believe we should stop over analyzing generations. The ball is already in motion there is no way to stop it. So I suggest we just hang on for the ride.
