Building bridges for the future through collaborative projects

1. Is there a clear demarcation between who you are online and elsewhere?

Yes there is a clear demarcation between who you are online and in person. Online you can be anybody who ever you want because nobody can really see you. In person you are who you are you do not have anything to hide behind and try to be something your not. Online you can be totally different from who you are which could leave people thinking you are someone who you are. I think you should talk to people in person rather than online so they can know who you truely are. That is the only bad thing about the internet people can pretend to be who there not and in some cases hurt people. So always be cautions of who you are talking and be cautions if you ever met them. There is a very clear demarcation between you online and off line.

2. What parts of you are people missing out on if they do not interact with the online you?

If people do not interact with the online me they might miss out on things I could not tell them in person. Also something that I felt like would be a funny joke I might say online but not have the courage to say it in person. This because they might feel embarrassed to say it in person. Maybe because they are scared nobody would laugh or people would make fun of them but online they or me couldn't get embarrassed like you could in person. Also not might know that not only me but people in general, are in a relationship.

3. Why (or why not) should you manage your own personal cyber infrastructure? What does this mean to you?

You should manage your own cyber infrastructure. People should manage how they show or present themselves online. You should present yourself well when online and not be rude and mean. Also, you should be well secure online and not put to much information.  You should put just enough information for people to know who you are and for people to be able to find you. You should present your self good in picture that are posted online so that when people see them they will not think you are bad or somebody your not. This means to me you should control how you present yourself online and also what kind of information you put online.

4. Who are we in this space where the online world is not something distinctly separate?

The physical world is very much affected by the online world.  For example when pictures are taking people want to make sure they are the best they can be because more than likely they are going on the internet. Things that happen in the physical world today more than likely if they are humors or good they are put on the internet. As the internet has evolved things that happen in the physical world matter more and more because if they are put online a lot of people can see it. This being people who probably didn't see it actually happen. So the online world thrives of things that happen in the physical world because they are put online and people see them and so from then on they keep coming back to see more news that happened in the real world. In the future to come the internet will interact with the physical world more and more. As they both advance everything that happens in the physical world will be put on the internet, so there will not be any difference in between them.
