Hey guys I am 15 years old and I live in West Des Moines, Iowa. I play soccer, my position is defense. I have a twin sister Allison and she is 62 minutes younger than me. I also enjoy to ski and tube! I am a sophomore at Valley High School. Our high school is pretty big. But it is just grades 10 through 12. We have a 9th grade building close by. I like to eat pizza and Chinese food. I love scary movies and I love to listen to music. Taylor Swift is one of my favorite artists. I really like country music. This class I am in right now is Digi Tools and we connected with people around the world and try to use different forms of communication.
Most people think of Iowa as all pigs and cattle. But West Des Moines isn’t that. We are a big city that has a variety of things to do. Our high school is one of the biggest in the state and our football team won state last year. I play for our soccer team and we are very good as well. This week in our school is homecoming. So everyone is dressing up crazy and our dance is on Saturday. In the metro area people can do a lot of different jobs. West Des Moines is a great place to raise a family and find work.
