Wrap Up Activity
The Flat Classroom Project is a worldwide project by having the opportunity to interact with other people from the world providing the Web 2.0 tools to have a faster connection and communication. All of the students and teachers are the investigators from this project, but students will manage this project and the teachers will only inspire them. They will be studying the flatteners in the world as outlines in Tomas Firedman´s book “The World is Flat”. Students will write something that is easy to read and helpful for everyone to understand it.
The “Personal Learning Environments and Social Networking” is divided into three teams: team A, team B, and team C. To start working with the project that the student will be based on their groups, Google and other search engines are the prime examples. There are some ideas to get started: Provide an historical account of the development of social networking and PLE’s, discuss the approaches taken locally and globally to the use of social networking tools for education, provide current examples of how business and education use Web 2.0 tools to connect and find information.
As the teams are each time more close each student will search for their corresponding team. Team A group D, Government, Politics and Employment will analyze these two areas of the impact which are Government and Politics as well as Employment in workplace including a summary with relevant images.
My team members from 8D are: ElizabethS_SVHS, ChristianS-mhs-67, CoutneyR-Masco, and GildaA_ATS
