Flat Classroom Project

Building bridges for the future through collaborative projects

This video is about recognizing one of our world's biggest social issues: racism and discrimination. Through globalization, the world can become united together as one and our differences will not be hated, but celebrated. Instead of ignoring the poor and the hungry, we need to help them and let them become part of our globalized world. We shouldn't hate other races, cultures, etc. but embrace what they have to offer and share with them what we have to offer. By working and connecting with other people across the globe, we can become more educated and open to new ideas that will help our planet progress as a whole.

Thank you! And I understand the problem with using copyrighted music, so I'll try to find something else to supplement it with. It's just so hard since this song is PERFECT for the message I'm trying to convey in the video. It's a shame, but rules are rules I guess. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and thank you for the huge compliment! :)

Great video, Jessica! Just so you know, if we use copyrighted music, Ning sends us a takedown notice according to the Digital Millenium copyright act. We cannot use copyrighted music in our films. Your film is excellent and I think it will be a contender for awards (in my humble opinion) but I'm concerned that your use of copyrighted music will cause us to have to take down this video and also penalize you in the awards program! I would look at ccmixter or jewelbeat - it is a struggle to find good music with appropriate license but it is important to follow the rules.
